This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on dealersupply.com, operated by Dealers Supply USA LLC. For how we handle personal information in general, see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Websites also use similar browser storage (“local storage”). They let the site remember things between pages and visits — for example what is in your basket — and help us understand how the site is used.
Cookies we use
Necessary — needed for the store to work. They can’t be switched off on our site, but you can block them in your browser; parts of the store, such as the basket and checkout, will then not work.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_items_in_cart, woocommerce_cart_hash | Dealers Supply Company (WooCommerce) | Keep your basket as you move between pages | Up to 2 days |
| wc_cart_hash_*, wc_fragments_* (browser storage) | Dealers Supply Company (WooCommerce) | Show the mini-basket quickly | Until cleared |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie | Dealers Supply Company (WordPress) | Keep you signed in to your account | Session, or 14 days if you choose “Remember me” |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Prevent fraud when you pay by card | 1 year / 30 minutes |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tell people and automated bots apart, to protect the site | 30 minutes |
| dsc_consent | Dealers Supply Company | Remember your cookie choice | 1 year |
Functional — make features work.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| algoliasearch-client-js-* (browser storage) | Algolia | Speed up search suggestions | Until cleared |
Analytics — tell us how visitors use the site, so we can improve it.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sbjs_* | Dealers Supply Company (WooCommerce) | Record how you arrived at our site (for example a search engine or an ad), so we know which sources lead to orders | Session / 30 minutes |
Advertising — help us reach you with relevant advertising.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| fullthrottlelims_t2, r | FullThrottle (LaunchPad) | Recognise your browser and device, and may match your visit to a household, so we can reach you with relevant advertising, including by mail | Up to 13 months |
Your choices on our site
Our analytics and advertising cookies are on unless you turn them off. When you first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page explains this:
- Choose Necessary only to turn off the analytics and advertising cookies. We delete the ones already set, and stop the tags that set them.
- Choose OK to keep them on.
- To change your choice at any time, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
Your choice is stored in the dsc_consent cookie for one year, in the browser you used. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn the analytics and advertising cookies off, unless you choose OK.
Managing cookies
- In your browser: every browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout from working.
- FullThrottle (LaunchPad): use the FullThrottle opt-out and “Do Not Sell My Information” form.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the cookies on our site change. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
